Default oil on caliper

Hi, I just got my first Jeep last week. A 2000 GC. I noticed today that the rear drivers side caliper has oil all over it. Anyone know what could cause that? A few other questions too, but the others can wait. Thanks!

Sounds like the axle seal is leaking. You'll have to pull the axle to replace it and you should check for wear on the axle where the bearing rides. In most cases, the seal starts to leak when the axle bearing starts to wear a groove into the axle.
