Default Oil BUrnin

I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Have noticed that my jeep is burning a little more oil than usual. I replaced the PCV Valve and hoped that would help. Never any oil on the gound and never smokes.
Any suggestions

How much is it burning, how often, and whats the mileage? Im thinking worn rings, valve seals, or even a head gasket allowing some oil into the cylinders. But those are only guesses.

I've deleted my response because it's irrelevant. I was thinking 4.0 straight 6 engine.

On second thought, check the oil drains in the heads for being plugged up and not allowing the oil to drain, therefore submerging the valve seals. The overhead cams require lots of oil that may not be draining quickly enough. This is a major cause of valve cover gasket leaks.
