Hello. I just purchased recently a 2106 Cherokee and had a question about the transmission being in neutral. I cannot go through a automated car wash with having to put the vehicle in park and stepping on the brake and pushing the start button again. The Local Jeep dealership said it is a safety feature. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

 

Leave it running an put it in neutral.

 

I think he's talking about the stop-start feature and I'm not sure if it will stay running unless you slip it into neutral before you stop or even if that will work. Again, this is one of the various reasons I'm still driving a 2000.
