I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, its a V6, i recently installed a aftermarket radio the radio is a XO vision XD103 radio. Also, I have replaced my original headlights with the phillips white headlights (9004) but I've encountered a problem. Today when I got into my Jeep my dashboard light, my tail lights (NOT my break lights), my side marker lights, and PRND23 lights do not work either. I pulled the fuse out and it was blown, i replaced it, and it blew again. I do not know what to do, I am going to remove my dash board tomorrow and check to make sure none of the wires are touching or anything else, but if that doesn't work does anyone else have any other ideas for what I should do?

 

You hooked the factory illumination circuit to the aftermarket radio. Don't do that. Clip the orange wire at the back of the radio and you should be good.

Retard mode is correct for you and your vehicle. Don't bypass it just leave it there.
