misfire in engine.
I was driving my keep to work yesterday when the check engine light came on. I pulled into autozone and the guy hooked up the computer. He said it was a misfire in cylinder 3 and that the code has came on 3 times. As far as I know it has only came on this time since I have owned it. I bought it about 4 months ago. It has the 3.7 and is a 2009 with 83k miles on it.
So what could be causing it? I have heard it could be the spark plugs, the wires, the coil packs or the fuel injectors.
I have new plugs to install, but haven't had the time to install them yet.
Anyone got an suggestions? Thanks.

I bought the NGk 6987 copper spark plugs. I will switch them out, but do you think I should order new wires and coils? The parts stores around me doesn't carry them in stock and have to order them. Even the jeep dealer.

Inspect the coil boot for carbon trailing, cracks, or melting. A loose spark plug can leak hot gasses and melt the rubber insulator.
