Default 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee axle swap help please

My son has a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee and is trying or going to try to do a axle swap or mod!
the axle's he got was off of a 99-04 ford f350 the front axle is a dana 50
and the rear is a ford 10.5? hope I got that one right
Is there anyone here know what it is going to take to do this swap if possible?? and before he starts spending $$$$ on this axles
he plans on this jeep to be only an off road jeep
can anyone here help please
can this be done??

ANYTHING can be done with enough time, patience, and money. This is going to hurt.

I believe the Ford uses leaf springs, am I correct? What is the axle's flange-to-flange width? Is it even close to the WJ's? Then you'll have to cut off all the mounting brackets and rebuild them with the jeep's mounting brackets and spring seats. The WJ uses a single point upper control arm mount on the differential. IMHO, this is almost too much work. If you feel you want to, go for it!
