mis-matched spare usage?

mis-matched spare usage?
My 2000 GC has 225/75-16's all around, but the spare is a 245/70-16-If I need to use this for an emergency flat tire, will I damage anything. The spare has never been used but I do make sure it's holding pressure. Thanks .

If you have the 242 Selectrac transfer case, it shouldn't be a problem. If you have the Quadra-Trac, I would recommend only short distances, like to get off the highway and to a tire shop. Your two different tire sizes aren't that much different in diameter, but any differences in tire size is detrimental to the health of the 4WD. Even the 242, don't put it in 4WD.
