I have a '93 ZJ 4.0. Previously leaked like crazy. Oil and power steering fluid. I started by changing the pressure line for the power steering. Nope, still leaked. My next step was to tackle the oil leaks that had gotten really bad. Changed the valve cover gasket and the O-ring on the oil filter adapter. Bam! Oil leaks gone. The last step was the power steering pump, which I changed yesterday. No more leaks. Today was a beautiful day here in Arizona so I took Mr Jeep for a scenic drive. Round trip was 277 miles and not one leak!!! I feel like celebrating! I feel like I won the lottery! Well... almost. LOL.
My last gremlin as far as leaks go is a pinhole leak in one freeze plug. It only leaks once in a while then it may go a whole month without leaking. But it still needs to be changed. It looks really, really challenging to get to it without taking the intake and exhaust off. Has anyone replaced one with the intake and exhaust still in place? It's the second one back from the front. Thanks.

Old fart with a wrench
I you can access it, drive a punch thru it and curl it out. Then buy a rubber expanding plug to put in. From underneath is the best shot.
