Unhappy Lug Nuts

stupid question but....


I just picked up a set of steel rims for my XJ but the lugnuts i used on my alloys are not deep enough too tighten the rim down, are there lugnuts i can get with a through hole?

Check out ebay... I know GCs 1999-2004 are the same as the XJ/MJ and the new JKs are alike aswell, but I would guess all Jeeps are the same

do you think the alloys and steelys have the same lugnuts? the steelys are thicker i think

They should be the same... I would look for 1 peice chrome lugs... The 2 peice OEMs are junk in my opinion...

oops i mean the alloys are thicker... but hmm ill have to check if my lugnuts fit again...maybe im wrong

That is weird... The lugs should of worked unless they are not oem...

Go to your local parts store and ask for 1/2 x 20 open end lug nuts. They should have plenty. Or if you want a specific kind of set, like bulged nuts, then hit up summit racing and search for gorilla nuts. They have tons of different kinds. I got my gorilla nuts there for $32 shipped and they are locking style. They are also pretty deep too.
