Default Lighting issue

1995 ZJ 5.2 Limited
Assume all bulbs and fuses are good (yes, i checked).

When headlights are turned on, only the head lights come on. Fog lights will come on when in the proper position as well. No tail lights, no marker lamps.
Brake lights (all 3) work properly.
No turn signals or hazards. (suspect bad flasher).
No dash lights.

Any help/advice will be appreciated

dash lights maybe dimmer switch, but that doesnt explain the marker lights or turn signals

Messed a lot with the dimmer and couldn't get the lights to blink at all. Floor console doesn't light up either. And wouldn't explain the markers or signals.
However, a dead flasher would explain the signals/hazard. Had to do a lot of digging as Jeep apparently moved its location around every year and changed the type of module used. (95% it is in the relay panel accessed through glove box on a 95).

Hoping to mess with that in the morning and maybe have turn signals. Still no clue why the rest of the lights don't come on. I have a FSM for 93 and i think the switch is the same so I may start jumping the connector and see if I can get some action going, maybe rule out the switch.

Don't leave it there! Those fuses blew for a reason. Find your short or it will happen again. Check where the wire harness goes thru the body to the tailights, or under the rear seat. Just had a flash of light in my brain! How about the hatch wiring to the liscence plate light?

Do you mean to tell me that fuses don't just wear out?

See the pic below. Previous owner had straight pipe exiting below the bumper. Exhaust gasses melted the bumper and the light. All the wires were crispy. I changed out the taillights before going on my electrical hunt. I imagine the short was in the fried wires.

Will know if there is still a short if the fuse blow again, but went on a night drive last night for about an hour and the lights worked perfectly.

In New York State you couldn't get away driving with a light like that! The first cop that saw it would have written you a ticket!

Rockauto wants $40.79 each side (both were busted)

I paid $30 for the pair with the harness and bulbs
