Which Kats heater for 98 GC ?
I cant access the Kats application guide but would like to know which Kats engine heater to use on my 98 GC 5.2.
I have a lower radiator hose heater (1 3/4") but would like to know for certain before I go to cutting on my lower hose.

In all my years of working with engine heaters, I've found that block heaters work the best. You warm up that cast iron and it starts right up. On Chevy V8s, they stay about 100* overnight. These are the ones that replace a block core plug and have a thermostatic control.
Kats catalog says 10603 permanent cord or 11603 removable cord and do not recommend a rad hose heater. 600 watts. Right rear freeze plug location. I just used "Bing" and found their pdf catalog.

Upstate NY. Why do you ask? Yes, it gets really cold up here.
