just stalls and dies
I have a 95 grand cherokee orvis with the 318. Starting today I'll be driving along just fine but then it starts sputtering and then dies. I go to restart it and it'll pop and I have to disconnect the battery and reconnect it and then it'll start and run again. After awhile it'll start doing it again. Sometimes it'll correct itself. When it does it sometimes the gas peddle sticks to the floor. What would cause this?

Give us a history of what has been done recently and what have you done in the way of diagnostic work. The first thing to check is fuel pressure.
I have done nothing as far as diagnostic work and I have no clue what, if any, repairs have been done to it. I just bought it a week ago and driven over 400 miles. Someone suggested the tps. Told me to try unplugging that and see if it helps.
