Default 91 Cherokee wipers

I was driving my 91 Cherokee in the rain yesterday. The wipers all of a sudden got real slow then stopped. Now they don't work at all. The fuse is good. I pulled the motor out and hooked it to a battery and it seems to work. I've got no power at the plug and no power at the delay control module. So I am at a loss as to what I should check next. Or maybe I'm not testing something right. I would appreciate any help.

Take a look at the wires on the stalk on the steering column. The base of stalk has exposed wires that rub. Stalk should pull straight off then look at wires for wear. Worth a shot anyways.

If you suspect the Delay Module, remove it and plug everything back in.

So where does the power come from? None of the wires that plug into the control module have power. Does the power go through that or does it come from the switch when it's turned on? Not much of an electrical guy.

Power is from fuse panel. Check fuse and follow wires til dead spot found. Electrical is a pain, but just follow the wire.

I mentioned checking stalk wires cause it takes 30 seconds and no tools. My upgrade to delay wipers lead to the discovery that 8 of 10 stalks at wrecking yard had broken wires at steering column.
