2000 cherokee sport power lock problems??
Need help with power door locks . Power lock switch does NOT work on drivers side door , everything else works on drivers door . Power door locks works on passenger side ?
Where should I start ? Broken wire in door hinge ? Switch itself ? Does switch need solder repair ?

Ah this is a fun one. In XJs the master module for various functions are split. The driver's door is the master for the window, the passenger's door is the master for power locks. All switched must go into the passenger door to do anything! This is really annoying as opening/closing the passenger door too many times renders the keyless entry totally usless! Lol (Laughing in sadness as this happened to me...)
Much like the windows and speakers, the problem is a broken wire in the door 99% of the time. www.cruiser54.com has the 2000 XJ service manual with wiring diagrams, so you can identify the culprit.
