To weld or not to weld, what would you do?

I have an open carrier in the new rear end, and not sure if I should weld the gears or hold out for an aussie. I won't spend $400 on one, so it will have to be used. I know there next to impossible to find used, so....

 

CANDY IS DONE!!!!!!!

Got home tonight, and got most of it done. Cut off the brackets, blead the breaks, and tightened things up. I drove her, and even did some "wheelin." There's some rocks at the end of my street, and I drove up on them. I got some awesome pix, but sadly, I failed to put the memory card in. There on the camera, so I got them, I just don't have the right hose to connect the camera to the computer. I will NEED an anti sway bar, but for now every thing works! I may need a bit more air in my shocks because one turned out just a little stiffer then the other, but we'll see how it plays out. I also need a muffler, but don't really have room for it. I'll get the pix as soon as I can, and get them posted.
