Default Jeep Newbie Spark Plugs

First Jeep in the family .... I know my jap cars like NGKs, my GMs like AC/Delcos. What do Jeeps prefer, Mopar plugs or is there a better or equal one?

IMHO, Champion Copper Core.

Basic rule; Autolite in Ford
AC in GM
Champs in Mopars
NGK in Jap cars

I put Autolites in a Dodge, they lasted a week!

I've personally never heard of anyone that used anything other than champion copper plugs without issues. If it's a jeep make a champion.

I'm using Autolites without issue. Think I'm going to go back to Champions next time though. I wont use NGK just because I hear too many Jeep guys complain about having to replace brand new NGK plugs because they constantly misfire.

I once drag raced a Camaro. We found you could run Champions in a GM car IF you went one heat range colder. The Champs had extended tips to get the flame more centered in the chamber, but would run hot and melt the center electrode. I never used Autolites in my Camaro, because I refused to use a Ford product in my Chevy. She'd probably bark all over me!

It's funny how certain brands tend to work better in certain cars. It's almost like they were designed for this. Mopar had a love affair in the early days with Prestolite. IDK, but I suspect Champions are made by Prestolite. Now it seems like Chrysler is buying electrics from Nikon-Denso.
