What do you zj guys do for intakes? I am looking at a 96 zj with the 4.0 and I am not sure what to do for a intake! on my 96 xj I did a cowl intake but don't know if that setup will work with the zj! so please give me some imput on what to do and please no hot air intakes!

I run a tube down to right above the cat. The cold air thing is a myth. You want HOT air.

I was joking on the cat thing lol.

Maybe use stock airbox, run some pvc pipe from the throttle body to the air box to get rid of the rubber stuff. And a drop in kn filter.

I ripped out the stock piece that funnels the air into the filter box (it is so restricted) and replaced with a stink pipe vent from a flat roof (it was free and it worked lol) it took some triming to get it to fit then i clamped and taped it on the front of the filter box, the opening now is so much bigger then the stock one. I left my factory filter box in place and jus bought a cool blue washable air filter it looks pretty much stock
