... and it's mostly ok! The only thing is that it's throwing the classic P0122 and P0123. Also, the speedometer isn't working and the airbag light is on.

I know the codes are related to TPS voltage, and I've read that they can be caused by a voltage bleed in the "V-37" circuit. I understand that the A-to-D converter for the TPS is shared with either the cruise or the speed monitoring circuits (not sure which one). As for the airbag light, I know the sensor was underwater (it was a deep hole) Not sure if that could be the source of a pesky voltage leak.

It also has this funny issue where it tries to stall when you lift. Only happens in neutral/park. It usually catches itself, but not always. That seems like typical TPS shenanigans to me, but the speedometer mess doesn't.

Basically, I'm looking for pointers with electrical troubleshooting here. I think I should start by tracing the harness from the cluster to the PCM looking for wet connectors, but that's just a guess. I'm wondering if steering column electricity is getting into the TPS circuit? Anyone else take a Jeep swimming and have a similar deal?

PS: It was a blast and I regret nothing!

Now that's funny! Do you know anybody that owns a body shop? Put it in the drying oven for an hour or so. Muddy water contains conductive particles that may cause voltage to bleed. Weatherpack connectors are only so good. Sounds like you're going to have to open every connector you can find and spray it with electrical cleaner.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought. I started with the connectors yesterday but ran out of sobriety so I had to quit before I broke something expensive. I'll give her another go tonight!
