Default I need Help really bad !

So i have a Jeep Grand cherokee laredo 01. 6v and this problem is driving me crazy. i have gotten pulled over 5 times dues to the same problem and i have spent tons of $$$ on finding whats wrong and NOBODY seem to know... please help!!!

so all of the sudden while i drive at night with my headlights on i will notice that my center consul lights ( ac/gears ) will go out and so will my rear running lights. i have break lights and turning signals but no rear running lights... before they will go on and off every so often but now it could be days or just minutes before they come on again.. i have changes both light assemblies, i have changed light bolbs and lights suckets and nothing. i have checked all my fuses and nothing. i even took it to a so call "car electrician" and he told me he couldnt find what was causing the lights to short out !! anyone knows or have had this before... i was also told it was the Body Control Module...anyone???

sounds like it might be your bulb housings on your taillights. the way they are setup to work is kind of dumb. pull the bulb out see if you can find any damage to the socket or just plain replcae them

Check to see if the fuse is tight.

does this one one have the lamp outage module? I don't think it does, but my 1994 zj was doing this and the module was bad, I just unplugged the module and plugged the harness together and it stopped. on mine if you open the tailgate it ws on the left side underneath the kick panel where spare was mounted

check the light bulb itself. you have to pull out the taillight and there is a socket where the bulb goes it comes out completely there are some pins on the socket and they go bad.

That's a tough one. I'm wondering if one of the circuit boards on the taillights is acting up.

My father has an 04 and he's lost a couple of tail lights due to them blowing out.

Does this thing have a trailer hitch and plug on the back?

Until you come across a real answer I would do just that. OR wire the rear running lights into other running lights that DO work like the front or side marker ones.
