Hello,

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004. I would like to install a remote starter. I bought a ProStart Car Starter from Canadian tire.http://www.prostartsystems.com/Docs/..._en_h51s43.pdf

I found most of the harnesses and wires:

12 VOLT CONSTANT* / PINK/BLACK (+) * / IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
12 VOLT CONSTANT /* RED (+) /* IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
STARTER / *YELLOW (+) /*IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
IGNITION 1 /*DARK BLUE (+) /*IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
ACCESSORY/HEATER BLOWER 1 / RED/BLACK (+) / *IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
ACCESSORY/HEATER BLOWER 2 /*BLACK/ORANGE (+) /*IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

But I don't find Tach wire... Can you help me?

my tach wire is tapped into in the engine bay

 

There is no way to find the Tach in other place near fuse box for example?...

 

mine ties into the loom right past the Firewall



The thin white one going into the black loom not to be mixed up with the copper or silver colored wires

Mine goes out and does that as soon as she finishes breakfast and free

 

you can connect your tach wire to an injector wire. all the injectors will have a common colored wire, connect to the other one, doesn't matter which injector. I have been installing starters for years if you have anymore questions just ask.

After 6-8 hours to search information how to install remote starter for Jeep Cherokee, 4 Hours to install it... It works!!!
