How to break in a new 2014 Grand Cherokee and where's the powerlift gate button?
Just traded in my 14 y/o Honda Minivan for a 2014 Grand Cherokee...what a beautiful SUV! Have watched the DVD that came with the car and am starting to understand all the basics plus the new bells&whistles... Right now I have two questions that I can't seem to find answers to:
1) How should I be breaking in my new car? The dealer didn't mention anything in this regard and I forgot to ask...and I can't seem to find anything in the manual on this topic.
2) Is there a way to open the back powerlift gate from the driver's seat? The key fob obviously has a button and there's a button in the back by the gate. The manual seems to give instructions to a button that's accessible from the driver's seat...but I can't make heads or tails of the instruction. I've searched high & low but cannot find any button in the front seat area!
Thanks!

we also have a wk2 they never said anything about breaking it in. there isn't really anything to break in. the rear door is a option I seen on the overland. our jeep is one step below the over land and has every option and the rear door doesn't have the hands free opening. our jeep is coded as a 3.7v6 and that's what the window sticker says but it has a 5.v8 eco drive.

I heard in the past that you baby gasoline engines up to there first oil change. Cause I know diesels are the opposite you run them had as possible.

Check the manual page #108.
ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS
A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle.
Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.
#2 it is between the reading lights switches
