Default Holy Hellp Please!

93 zj. running fine, park vehicle, start vehicle, begins to idle, then for no apparent reasoning whatsoever, no engine power, coughing, sputtering, throttle dosent help, dies... Worst of all then dosent start!!! Let it sit and sit and sit some more and then it will eventually start. This happens occasually. Seems like a fuel issue. Fuel filter replaced. Fuel pressure cks good. Injectors ck good. New plugs/wires. No smoking guns... At times when Im accelerating vehicle hesitates, bucks, then picks up again and drives fine. Not sure if these "issues" are related. A sensor(s)? Electrical POS? WHAT??? Anyone??? Thank you

It seems nobody wants to bother answering, so I guess I'll give it a shot. Try cleaning your throttle body, throttle position sensor, check your MAP sensor line for cracks, ALL your vacuum lines for condition and leaks. What is your engine size? On initial startup, does it run fine or does this problem occure after warmup?

There is a system that detects the engine's operating parameters and will shut it down if things aren't right. It's called the ASD or Automatic Shut Down. It could be you have a funky relay. Try swapping the relay with one of your headlight relays and see if it makes a difference.

Come back and post your findings, please.

Welcome to CF. We have a lot of good guys here, but we get this question asked so many times it gets tedious answering.

Check the plastic line that goes to the MAP sensor for cracks.

When i got my zj 93 it did act much like this. I had to replace plug cables, plugs and rotor/cap, but you have done that, but maybe a check, take of the cables and put them back in place?

First, Thanks for the guidance. Jeep has a 5.2. On inital start engine idles good. Problem shows itself with throttle movement... But not always!?? Another week before I'll have a chance to work this issue, but I will repost. Thanks again.
