Help With Water/Coolant change problem and Diff
Hi I did a full engine flush the other day, from the block/thermostat and I'm a little worried as it only took 5 litres to fill and that was roughly about what came out, but I have read its supposed to take 13.7 litres. The pipe from the block to the rad gets hot quickly and the pipe expands to its max, if you drive the car and leave it to stand all day, it doesn't go down much.
Secondly I have a load hum/juddering/vibration through out the car when turning slowly left. It does do it right hand down but not as bad. Could it be the front or back Diffs maybe.
Help greatly needed and appreciated before I manage to kill my Jeep,
Thanks

Old fart with a wrench
Your coolant flush only took 5 liters because the block wasn't drained. There are plugs in the sides of the block for this purpose. Whatever was in there before is still in there mixing with the new stuff.

just run and empty/refill it with water till the water is coming out clean, the fill it with antifreeze. The water in the block would be clean if you empty/refilled it enough times. Chrisfix on YouTube has a video on it.
