Hey man, I live in the country (well, sort of) and what's behind the house can't be seen from the road, so.... No, I had to sell off my Chevy iron when I got married. 2 327s, a 302, and a 350. I also had a couple of Muncies. That was in 1975. I haven't done much since then but keep my trucks running and my wife's Caravan, freaking Mitsubishi POS! The V6, of course.

So, how much blue smoke is coming from the tailpipe of that 3.0 in your van?

That's all water under the bridge now, It when down the road in 2008. Some chick wanted it to commute to college! It was blowing some smoke then, but all she wanted was something that would pass inspection and be sort-of reliable. It was that! it would start every time, but usually ran like a BOS. The way I look at it is she paid me $400 for a new set of tires! The driver's side sliding door would fall off the track if you opened it. The radio and heater worked great, the A/C not so much.

The PO had welded the downstream 02 sensor in and when I needed to change it, I got a repair sleeve, welded a 14mm nut on it, cut the pipe, clamped it in and plugged in the sensor. Worked great!

I had an 89 Plymouth Voyager with the 3.0. It was very reliable and very handy, but it blew a lot of blue smoke and didn't have rear air. Living in Phoenix without A/C in the back of a van sucks. I sold it to a friend at work right before I moved back to California.
