There aren't any good options for ZJ headlights. Either you put some LED bulbs in the junk stock housings (which acts like a flood light and doesnt actually focus the light), or some even more junk aftermarket "projectors" that have really bad optics

I would HIGHLY suggest taking the time to fit a set of bi-xenon projectors in some generic ZJ headlight housings.

It is SUPER easy, all you need to do is separate the front lens, aim the projector, and use some butyl glue to seal the headlight back up.

Check this video to see how easy it is, my 14 year old cousin could accomplish this in an afternoon

I would use these housings;
Amazon Amazon

and these projectors;

This HID kit;

and this harness;

EDIT:
somehow double posted

Still - Bi-Xenon HIDs are still the king for older cars. Easy to retrofit and blows the equivalent LED options out of the water.

PROVIDED they are aimed properly! I've been on the receiving end of poorly aimed HIDs long enough to be REALLY PISSED OFF!

It shouldn't be a problem with real bi-xenon projectors with a decent cutoff.
If you install HID's or LED retrofit bulbs in a factory style reflector housing you are completely ignorant of proper optics and lighting principles. Raw lumen output means almost nothing, optics are everything

here is an example of an improper HID/LED retrofit bulb in a factory style reflector looks like, compared to a proper HID projector;

Thank you for that, it needed to be said. I have not problem with HIDs done right. Right now there are some guys with LEDs and HIDs on snow plow rigs that should be outlawed!
