Default Front end popping noise?

I just bought a 99 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Im new to these suspensions (I have had many old cars and more recently Camaros, but this stuff is all new to me). I have a problem I was hoping for a little help with. I have a really loud popping sound come from the front end (sounds like the driver side and it does not just do it while turning). It does it when i'm slowing down and theres a small squeaking noise as i'm driving at low speeds. It has a 4 inch lift with Rustys control arms and some Teraflex swaybar quick disconnects. What could this popping noise be coming from?

I have checked the tracbar and it has some play in it. Not sure if its supposed to or not. Also a cv shaft comes to mind, but it doesn't really make noise while turning. I have also checked the u-joints and they seem to be fine. Any other suggestions of things to check? Advice? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check all your bushings. Sway links, sway bar, lca, uca ,shocks. also check for loose bolts. Your trac bar shoud not have any play. Good luck. And check the u-joints,all of them.As for the squeaking try greasing evrything [lube job].

So the trac bar should have no play. It pivots up and down a little. What are they supposed to be torqued to?

Trac bar ballstud nut is 62 and trac bar-to-axle bracket nut is 74 ft.lbs.

Everything is tight, and I even replaced the u joints and greased the heck out of everything. I still have the same problem. It only does it when slowing and braking at low speeds.

Check motor mounts and trans mount. Do you have a t-case drop? Check the bolts on your trans cross member.

if you have cv front axle shafts, i'm thinking that's what it is.

but also very well could be wheel hub/unit bearings.
