fans on my 2000 GC

fans on my 2000 GC
I have two fan on my 2000 GC, a clutch fan and a electric fan, any reason for this. also is there a trans cooler on these vehicles, if so should I be able to see that it is mounted in front of the radiator.

My '00 WJ 4.0 only has a single electric fan, but it doesn't have the tow package. The tow package models have an aux trans cooler in front of the radiator, a trailer hitch, and a trailer lighting module. My electric fan is on the rear of the radiator and I don't think there is room for a clutch fan.
The '00 WJ with the 4.7 V8 has a hydraulic driven fan.
