My coolant leaks especially in warmer weather. The leak occurs when I turn it off. I've been working on it for a month. I knew it needed a radiator because I had a slow leak. My cousin borrowed it and the leak became more noticeable. So I put a new radiator in. Tried to convince my hubby to help me with the tstat but he said he could do it later. 3 weeks later my sister in law needed to borrow it but said it began to run hot so she pulled over. My hubby changed the tstat and drove it home. We put a new water pump & hoses in but it began leaking at the tstat. The hubby must not have put it in right. So 2 days later my neighbor took it apart and redid the tstat in. Ran fine for 2 days but yesterday it leaked like a full on faucet after turning it off. Fluid full to work this am only to notice leak small puddle when I got off. + it cuts off sometimes now.

 

Welcome to CF! What motor are we talking about? The tstat housing may be cracked.
