Engine Knocking
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I hear a small knocking sound in front of engine like a shredded belt piece is hitting a cow bell as it goes around. But belt is new.Has anyone heard this before?? Thanks!

Engine: 4.0
Take the belt off, start and run very briefly to confirm if noise continues or goes away. If it stays, it something in the engine. If it goes away, its some spinning with the belt.
