ECU Replacement
My '94 GC with the 5.2 V8's ECU has failed, no if ands or butts( Not grounding the ASD and fuel pump relays, CEL among other things) Got a boneyard ECU coming and wondering if its plug and play or If I got to drag this thing to the Dealer to get programmed? I know newer ones with the coded keys need to be but not sure about these older ones. Thanks guys!

It should work as long as the boneyard ECU came from a vehicle of the same year with the same emission set up (California or Federal)
Having it reprogrammed will get you any updates to the software Chrysler made but if the old one was never updated then you'll just have the same as what you had on the old one.
