'97 Grand Cherokee door check rollers were gone so did some research and this is the fix I came up with. Lowe's shower door rollers, (3/4" with #8-32 thread mounting screws), #8-32 pronged T-Nuts, #8-32X3/4" screws, #8 and #10 flat washers. Remove door and grind off remaining roller and mounting rivet from the top side of the hinge, punch out remainder of rivet towards the bottom side of the door. Grind prongs off of T-nut. Thread #8-32x3/4" screw thru #8 washer and screw into the top (non hex side of roller), snug then screw thru #10 washer, door hinge and into barrel side of T-nut putting red locktite on end of screw and snug again. Grind off portion of screw protruding below the flange of the T-nut for hinge clearance. (Remove broken door hinge bolt and replace bolt before installing door.)
