3.5 Inch IRO Lift - Need Tire Recommendations for Stock Rims
98 ZJ 5.2L - rear tires are bald and one of them has a patch of exposed belt. Definitely not safe to be driving so I need to pony up and get some new tires.
Just bought the 3.5 IRO lift, intended on going with 31 inch tires. The rims that came with my vehicle are these:
I don't know much about back spacing, tire sizes, what fits, and what's needed to have a safe, highway driven set of tires put on a lifted Jeep.
Can someone please recommend a good tire based on the following criteria:
I really wanted a set of steel rims but since I need tires immediately there might not be any time for that unless there's a backspacing issue and they're necessary. Plus I'd prefer to have lighter wheels than nice looking, heavy ones.
I was thinking about going with GoodYear Wrangler Authority Tires - 31x10.50r15

Can someone please recommend a good tire based on the following criteria:
- Highway Speeds of 80 - 90mph (90% daily driven on roads)
- Reasonably Priced
- Could handle occasional Mud/Sand (Will NEVER See Snow)
- Will fit stock rims

Hi maybe you wont like what i say but if you want to have a car that can be driven safely on highway with 90mph, than forget lifting, spacing, and everything else, and use it as it was designed in the factory. By the way, i have the same wheels, and as far as i know you need r16 tires on it.
