Death wobble unable to cure
I took my 2000 jeep grand cherokee 4x4 with 4.0 it has the 4" rough country lift. Took to a knowledgeable shop they said everything in the front end looked tight I just had new tie rods and dual steering stabilizer put on which it had death wobble befor that and this didn't fix it. And I had it aligned still no fix I can't figure it out

I've dealt with death wobble on two xj's and a tj. All three times the track bar bracket on the frame was the problem. Some solutions; torque the bolts to spec, replace the bolts as the holes may be wallowed out or replace the bracket. Iron Rock Offroad has a great double shear track bar kit, found here. The track bar itself is 1.25" solid steel. Being double shear allows for more down travel on the passenger side (if you're interested in that sort of thing) over the stock "tie rod" end.

I've been dealing with a wobble for about four months now in my XJ after a 3" lift. All parts look and feel good. Had the tires re-balanced today, hopefully that did the trick. I'll come back tomorrow with results after driving to work work and back tonight.

Going 50+ mph, hit a bump and the front end is violently moving and it won't stop until you slow down to 30 mph or so is death wobble.

I don't ever really have passengers but the shaking is a bit nerve racking sometimes. Usually it only happens on unevenly paved highways. I don't have to slow down that much to stop the vibes but sometimes I need to use the brakes to get it to stop shaking.

Old fart with a wrench
The first time I experienced Death Wobble was in a CJ7. It started violently shaking and a turn was coming up. I was looking at a gaurdrail and a dropoff going 50 mph and not being able to turn! Now that's "Death Wobble!"
