Default Dana 30 Pinion Yoke Grooves
Pulled this off my CAD that I'm getting rid of hoping to save a few dollars and saw this. Should I sleeve it or buy a new one? If I buy a new one, I was thinking I'd get the U-bolt style. Thoughts?

U-bolt style... The pinion bearings are shimmed instead of using a crush sleeve, so you don't have to worry about the gear setup changing. Remove the old, install the new, torque the nut to spec...

Doesn't look that bad, you can drill it out to use the u bolt style straps if you want to.

The Dorman yoke is $70+ and a Spicer is $50. Any reason not to buy the Spicer?

Spicer is far better than Dorman.
