Default CV axles

I'm changing both CV axles this weekend. Will I need an allignment after? Also any info or tips on doing this job? 94 GC.

If everything goes back, to where it was......no you will not need an alignment. If something else breaks while your doing the work, plan on one.

No, you won't need an alignment. You're going to need a 13 mm 12 pt socket/wrench to take the unit bearing off, and a 36 mm socket for the hub nut. If this is your first time it may take a bit because of the noob-ishness, more likely though those three 13mm bolts are the "Bolts of Death". Have a cheater bar ready, you'll need it.

Once they're out, make sure the new axles don't scrape the axle tubes bringing in dirt/mud/muck into the pumpkin, and reassemble.

Great advice! Worked out perfectly. You were right about the cheater bar. I used it.
