I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and the A/C is only coming from the defrost vents and I need a good vacuum diagram or pictures to find the problem.

 

After looking at a lot of diagrams I started looking (again after many times looking) and found this little vacuum line broken. I taped it together and the air is blowing through the vents again!!! Wanted to share for folks that might have the same problem.

 

You can probably find a small piece of brass tubing, such as a ball point pen cartridge, to repair that tubing. The tape isn't going to last and vacuum is one of the hardest things to seal. Just make sure to wash the ink out of it first.

 

I put a piece of vacuum hose over it and that did it. I'm going to try to upload a picture of it but I've been having trouble posting a picture here.

 

That looks like it will work fine.
