I recently bought a 2004 WJ, and I've been wanting to put a CB radio in it to talk to some of my buddies that I go wheelin with. The only problem is that I can't find a suitable place to put it.

Has anybody done this before? If so, where did you mount the radio?

 

I mounted mine on the passenger side of the center concel....

 

BTW, If you want privacy, check out ch 21. It's dead around here. The local volunteer fire police use it a lot.

 

I have my VHF police band radio mounted in my center console, keeps it out of sight.

 

Idk if it will fit on a wj, but I had it in-between the passenger seat and center console in my zj

 

What kind of cb do you have? I bought a Cobra 19 DX IV. It's compact and i fit mine in the little cubby hole under the air controls. You have to cut the back out of the hole, but the cb slides right in like it was meant to go there.
