Default Transmission swap 1995 Grand Cherokee
Can an automatic transmission in a 1995 5.2L Grand Cherokee but replaced with an automatic transmission for a 1998 5.2L Grand Cherokee. I know it is not ideal but it is what I have.

Welcome to CF. I asked a friend that works in a JY to look it up to see if they'll interchange. He said '98 is all by itself, something in the electrical system. He said '95- '97 would work though. Maybe you can work out a trade with someone?
