axle identification help
My front axle is shot and I found a crashed jeep that I'm pulling the transfercase out of and was wondering if the axles could be swapped.
My jeep is a 95 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0L, auto, 2wd, 4hi, N, 4lo transfercase and was told it had 373 gears.
The jeep I'm parting out is a 93 Cherokee laredo with the 4.0L, auto, 2wd, 4hi, N, 4lo transfercase. would the gearing be the same?
Or a better question is how do I tell what the gearing is?
Thanks

The '93 Cherokee I can say that is most likely 3.55 gears.
And your ZJ unless it has factory tow package and was special ordered will also have 3.55's not 3.73's... 3.73's were standard in the V8 ZJ's.
OR were that axles swapped before you got it?
