Any Concerns to Look For on 06 G/C with Hemi
I am looking for a vehicle for my wife, and we have come across a 2006 Grand Cherokee Limited Edition with the 5.7 Hemi. It appears very clean and runs smooth. I can tell the passenger side valve cover has been recently replaced, and it gets an exhaust smell in the cabin on occasion. It shifts hard going from reverse to neutral only, and the owner seems to think it is a motor mount ( no other time). Also, the pedal adjustment doesn't seem to be very much when compared to a 2005 model. These issues are being looked into. Are there any other concerns I should look for or consider when deciding to buy or not? Please share your knowledge on this vehicle.

You might have seen this in your research but it mentions your hard shift. I'd be concerned with the exhaust smell in the cabin. Or at least pin point the problem before buying. I've gotten physically ill from exhaust fumes, not fun.

Old fart with a wrench
My brother had lots of trouble with his Ram with cracked exhaust manifolds and broken studs. He's now back to Chevy.
