Alarm trouble.
So I've posted about the no start condition already waiting for some knowledgeable fellow to be a sport and help out. But in the mean time I have another issue. I don't have a key fob for my jeep the people I got it deom had lost it so the only way to turn the alarm off is to start the jeep... which of course you cannot do at present so. I removed the fuses for the horn and headlights and hazards so my neighbors don't have to hate my guts everytime I re-connect the battery to see I'd I've solved the no start. Is there any other way around this?

For my 03 Grand Cherokee, unlocking the driver's door with the key should shut off the alarm. If it's not working, like the issue I'm having now, ( actually was hoping there were some good answers on this thread), try any of the other door locks. My jeep only has the one lock so this is not working for me.
So here is what I found and am about to try. Resetting the alarm
To reset the alarm on the 2003 jeep grand cherokee you need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side and put the key into the on position. Now turn it off and then back on twice, without actually staring the jeep, and it will reset.
