Hi , i have a 2000 jeep cherokee and i didnt knew the jeep have alarm , i didnt bougth him from factory and always saw a little red ligth near the radio after turn of the ignicion but someone told me that the ligth was a fake alarm , but last week i had to program a new transponder key in the dealer and during the process the alarm come in whit horns and guys there couldnt stop him because i loste my last key whit remote atached too and for now i only bougth the factory key but not the remote yet ..after a while they decided turn off the horn switches - well all this to ask if anyone can help in how to configurate the alarm since i have the manual and the complete manual of this jeep and i cant found there anithing about alarm , but since the car have alarm i have to find how to configurate so i can use it propeply . I will buy the remote this week maybe and i will have to go there again to programe the remote but i dont know if they will be able to configure the alarm so it woarks when necessary
