alarm immobilliser probs !!!!

Default alarm immobilliser probs !!!!

Hi all newbie here in need of help, My 96 grand cherokee had flat battery so put jump leads on her, the alarm went nuts and when I eventually go it turnt off the car will now not start! The dash etc all lights up but it would seem the Imobilliser is on. Tried using my fobs tried using keys turnt locks 5 times each way tried the back door twice to no avail anyone have any advice or suggestions ? Thanks to anyone who might be able to help .

I'm not sure, but try a 5-minute battery disconnect.

Ok thanks to all who helped tried all the different combinations locking and unlocking tailgate and doors etc to no avail. Then disconnected the battery and unlocked the hatch twice and re locked then connected up the battery and AWAY SHE WENT !!!!! So a big thanks from me over here in Snow covered freezing cold Scotland UK !!! Tony h
