Acc. Position on ignition not working
Just swapped out my aftermarket radio for another and now my acc. Position on ignition does not work.. It worked fine before but now I don't know. Could this be a fuse related problem or possibly an ignition switch problem. I'm going to double check that I didn't cross the power and ignition wires when I installed the new radio seeing as the factory wire harness for the factory radio was cut out hopefully that works but any info would be perfect. I should also ask is it possible to remove the key from the ignition when turned to the acc. Position because my key can be removed and that also was not like that before????? Also do any other accessories work when key is in acc. Position such as Windows etc?

Welcome To CF!
It sounds to me like your ignition switch tumbler is worn out. On ACC, the wipers (rear also), cigarette lighter, windows, radio, and possibly the power seats work, IDK because I don't have power seats. If all those work, you messed up wiring the radio. There is a caution on installing an aftermarket radio. On the standard radio, there is a wire that dims the radio display when the headlights are on. DO NOT CONNECT THAT WIRE.
If you plan on keeping this jeep awhile, you can download a Full Service Manual from [url]pacificcoastmanuals.com[/urtl] for $7.99+tax. It's 93mb of pdf files and covers every system in your jeep, even the radio and disc player systems. Printed out, it's over 1,000 pages. It's the BEST manual I've ever seen! Also try wjjeeps.com for lots of info.

I fixed it. Turn out i accidently connected the ignition wire from the truck to the constant power wire of the radio switched the wires and everything was fine again. Thank you though. But it seems i have another problem i just put a new window regulator and motor in on the rear driver side door and still does not work i ran a voltage test and it seems i have lack of power going to rear driver side switch. Is it possible i may need to change the master switch on the driver door or could this be something else

Check for a broken wire in the flex bundle on the hinge side of the rear door.
