AC only works on driver side

AC only works on driver side

My 2006 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7 L A/C only blows cold air on the driver side. Passenger side air is not cold. I have the control switch set to the coldest setting. But still does not blow cold air. Does the passenger side have it's own compressor? Any suggestions?

Anyone ever heard of this? Does the 5.7 have 2 separate compressors? I am at a total loss here.

No, it should all come from one compressor and one evaporator coil. Sounds like you have a possible venting issue in the dash. Plugged up with a rat's nest or something fell loose back there. Did you try another venting option on the switch to see if it made a difference?

Reads like an issue with the 'blend door'. The WK automatically changes the 'blend-air' and 'mode doors' so perhaps there is an issue with that system, like a rats nest or broken/loose vacuum line.
