Are the basic (3 dial and two button) control panels interchangeable with the digital control panels on a 2003 Gr Cher Lar?

can I upgrade to this style?

 

Unfortunately, no. The heater/AC unit is different as well. Most of the problem lies with the blend door being 2 sections with separate stepper-motors controlling them. I suppose it can be done, but it would be expensive.

 

A word of advice - I have the limited edition that you are trying to upgrade to and I recently changed my blend doors (to repair them) and it is a PITA. If you want to do it right you have to take out the entire dash, release the coolant and Freon. Not worth it for this upgrade. As long as there is heat - let it do its thing.
