So I have a 96 ZJ 5.2 V8. I have one check engine light on for my purge valve, which I replaced along with the gas cap. So I'm thinking that's a leak. But more strang I have a "check gauges" lights that comes on for a few seconds then stops. Its started to only come on when I made right turns, yep just right turns. Now it comes on when I make any turns and come to a stop. It doesn't do it ever turn or stop. For instance if I drive for 30 min it will come on about 5 times on turns and or stops. The battery is good as well. Any thoughts on what it could be? And it just started about a month ago.

Codes? How is the alternator? Usually the dreaded Check Gauges means one of the dash gauges is off the scale where it shouldn't be. Its warning you that your oil pressure is dropping out, or your alternator is undercharging. Check for coolant or power steering fluid spraying on the alternator, and...check your gauges when you see it.
