96 laredo No stereo power
It was the stereo. Why it liked to work in my vehicle we'll never know. It threw me for a loop. I sent it in for repair and it's fixed and on it's way.
I guess I got one with a personality.
AS for my testing, I am a NOOB. There was a load on the system during most of the testing. When testing the battery, the hood light was on.
When testing the wiring, the dome lights were on. I think my meter's fine but I dunno about my head. :-)
I won't play with the wires anymore. I was just really frustrated and did something I shouldn't have.
Thanks for the help guys.

A couple of lights shouldn't eat up your battery that bad, unless you have it on for days. +1 for not trusting that 10 cent fuse, glad to hear they found a problem in the stereo though. Hopefully after the reinstall it works fine!
