Default 96 Grand Cherokee 5.2 trouble starting.

96 Grand Cherokee 5.2 . After an abrupt stop the engine stalled and was hard to get started. The next day it started but idled rough. Installed new plugs seemed fine. Next day turned over no start. New crank sensor no start. Checked fuel filter, it was very dirty replaced it and got it to run. Runs with miss at idle and when accelerated(punched down) at 40mph misses and vibrates badly. Won't start when cold. new rotor, dist cap,and wires still the same. Checked fuel pressure 47psi and the fuel filter ok. Checked spark (with timing light) at coil has intermittent spark. The spark looks good at all plugs but one #8 has very intermittent spark. please help

No start cold today. Had weak spark at coil wire when cold. Tried new coil started and runs good, no miss at idle or on acceleration. Will post in morning when try to start cold. I might try the champions, read something about them before.

humm I may get a new coil for my RIG.. seems mine cranks hard in the cold deff...

I would not use BOSCH anything...

On the other hand ME PERSONALLY.. I hate champion..

I would use NGK plugs (no need for platinum)
