02 sensor???

Default 02 sensor???

i have a 94 GC. ARE they soposed to have 02 sensors cause i cant seem to find one but i have a plug just hanging there and nothing going to it?

it is on the passenger side, just after the "h" right next to the transmission pan (if u have an automatic) and the sensor is on TOP of the pipe.. the lead runs up the back of the trans tunnel/firewall

not a hard job, just did it with a buddy took us about 30 minutes.. PB blaster to break it free and LONG screw driver or LONG needle nose pliers to reach the clip.

I had to use an open ended wrench to get it off do to the placement.

mine doesnt have a 02 sensor. i guess they didnt use one on the 5.2 cause i have looked at the whole exhaust and cant find one

ok i feel really stupid...i found it. i guess the exhaust shop just put it in a weird spot..

if you have an engine light on that give u the code for Oxygen sensor failure.

nope no check engine light it just bounces between 1500 and 2000 rpms when its at idle in park.

that has nothing to do with the oxygen sensor..

prolly a tps or vac leak
